Energy display when opening crystals

On one of my alt accounts I have full energy but every time I go to open a crystal it drops to 18. It doesn't seem to affect my actual movement in a quest though. Is anyone else having a similar issue?

Additionally, it is showing only 69 energy points, while your actual is 70.
