Angela Buff Criticism

I'm really surprised Angela has been chosen as one of the champions to get a buff or tune up in March. This is surprising to me because I can think of at least 20 characters that could use a buff or tune up more than Angela. I personally think she isn't one of the lesser useful champions in the game, she has a bit going for her. I'm really excited for the OG BP and Miles buffs coming but would've loved to see War Machine, Storm, and BPCW get buffs or tune ups before Angela.

A tune up is easy to implement. Tweaking numbers to make her better.

Almost everyone else you mentioned need more extensive work, utility changes etc.

It’s definitely an unexpected choice but there are some theories. Maybe this is to build up the Asgardians before Odin comes. Maybe the Asgardians of the galaxy are getting buffed before variant 7, which is about the guardians.

I think the invisibility is related to the VFX (visual effects) that were mentioned in the discussion about Miles. It's much more work to completely redesign a champs animations than it is to tweak the numbers of existing abilities. Miles will probably be down the road a bit with a serious overhaul.

She is getting a tune up, just number change, and other you mentioned need much much more than just a few number twist

Miles isn't confirmed for March. Miike was only talking about what he'd like to see and that Miles is on the list.

no. Those characters don’t need value updates like the one Angela is getting, they need overhauls.

I personally don't see a problem. Kabam said they want to buff 4 champs per month, yes? Some will be older. Some won't.
I'm good with it. They all get buffed eventually. 🤷‍♂️

I never said he was confirmed. It’s better that he’s not because then Miles can get an overhaul which is what he really needs.

March is 2 tune ups and 2 updates. Angela is getting the P99 treatment with a tune up, so only her values will change

Dude, please read what you're replying to. We've been super clear about what players can expect and how often you'll get each kind of Buff. If we didn't choose Angela for a value only update, it doesn't mean that Iron Man would be getting a buff. He needs more love than a Value only update, and we would only switch her out for another Champ that needs a value only update.

Dude, please read what you're replying to. We've been super clear about what players can expect and how often you'll get each kind of Buff. If we didn't choose Angela for a value only update, it doesn't mean that Iron Man would be getting a buff. He needs more love than a Value only update, and we would only switch her out for another Champ that needs a value only update.

You guys should give them what they want, just to spite them. Make OG Iron Man have a tune up instead and just have slightly better armor ups and some more attack value as his only buff

Exactly. I don’t see why it’s hard for people to understand this. This is a slight change. Nothing to complain about when other champs are more deserving of the big beefy buff and will get them but later.
