Finally...

Cavalier! Sentinel was definitely more enjoyable to fight than xbones but it doesn’t matter now. Any ideas as to what content I should try and tackle next?

Variant completion (not exploration) and exploration of Act 5 is the way to go. Do that while interspersing Monthly Cavalier EQ ( completion) and uncollected EQ (exploration). When you've developed your roster enough go for Act 6.2 and beyond.

I myself turned Cavalier just last November, and since I am a casual player I am still doing the above mentioned first so I can expand my roster before I go 6.2.
