Why can't he block Mr sinister's sp1?
I thought he could block unblockable mutant specials?

From when it said so in his description.

I’m guessing it has something to do with the node making the special unblockable, therefore the game doesn’t allow him to block it because it isn’t seen as unblockable from a mutant ability.

Just a guess though

this might be the case, but I’ve been able to block unblockable specials with the node making it unblockable

This is the second time it has happened though the 1st was in arena he couldn't block Havoks unblockable sp2 I thought it was a 1 time thing but now I am sure something is wrong

This could be a bug, and should be reported in the Bugs and Known issues section. Let's remember not to jump on the "nerf" train right away. We rarely make changes to Champions, and when we do, we always do our best to ensure we tell players in advance. Sometimes other changes might change interactions, but we also try out best to call those out as well.
