My last few posts have been deleted but here's another one. This system is completely broken this season. There has to be something done about war rating when matchmaking because these alliances we've been facing are ridiculously stacked and op. We don't stand a chance in competing with the whales of the game. This is suppose to be fun right? I'm always up for a challenge and thats why I play this game but this is a complete kick in the you know what this season. I hope this is figured out soon 😂

You do realize that's Asgard right. One of the top alliances in the game.

Matchmaking via war rating is always going to throw up the odd war which is like this (not quite sure why Asgard have 2k war rating tbh) but it’s WAY better than the prestige based system we had before.

Your war rating is higher. If you can't hang with the whales, you'll lose, your rating will lower and you will be placed into a tier and ranking that is more suited.

That's how it works.

It‘s like that for about half a year. Everyone Knows that matchmaking is Based in war rating, yes its asgard but Since they have such a low war rating they dont seem to take war seriously. This matchmaking in my opinion is the Most fair solution so far

If they are at your level, then they aren't taking war as serious as they have in the past. This is how competition works. You're alliance is 4 points ahead in war rating. Think of it as you are both in the NFL. You are on the same playing field. You just need to out play them. This is how AW works.

This is first season in a long time where matchmaking has been so lopsided. It's all good though. You guys disagree with it until it happens to your alliance. 33mil against an 88mil. Touchè

I agree, but at least give us break for a couple of wars with some even matchups. We've been getting slapped around like we stole something!

Looking at your alliance, it seems you all have taken over an alliance with a high war rating. Depending on what screen I look at, your alliance is either Gold 3 or Plat 2. You all are punching way above your weight. That's the whole point of this new matchmaking process. If you can't handle plat 2 opponents, you'll lose wars and war rating until you level off and start finding opponents more closely to who you are. You also might be only running 1 or 2 BG's per war. you have a person in your Ally who is rated ay 97,000 PI. There's zero chance you are letting that person join war. Your alliance is also set to open. People are going to come and leave as they want. Also not good for war planning. If you are only running 1 or 2 BG's, so are they. They aren't taking war as serious as they used to either. Just do your best and move on.

All in all, don't take over dead alliances with high war ratings. You'll get back down to your punching level soon enough. You aren't going to win many wars in plat 2. I'd be curious to see your W/L history.

Let's put it this way. We were a g1 alliance. This season we have not faced one g1 alliance. Matchmaking is putting us against all p3 and up. If you don't see something wrong with this then you've never encountered this problem.

lol why would you mark out alliance leader? I can see who it is by looking your alliance up in game. So it's possible you are both in G3. They aren't trying at all. The thing you have to realize is matchmaking looks at war rating primarily. You are being matched with an alliance in your bracket. Alliance size doesn't matter.

Demon, that's probably the bug where if you’re just looking at someone else's individual Profile it shows their War standing as YOUR OWN, not actually theirs (I assume Demon's Ally is the P2).
Have to go into their actual Alliance page to see what they really are (as he posted his Pic afterward, G1/G3)

(although as far as the matchups, agree with what everyone else is saying. Could be opponent had started relaxing a bit and not taking as seriously so their WR had dropped some. In addition to OP's WR maybe having exceeded their equilibrium spot so are now matching against some higher teams until they lose some, like a See-Saw).

I was under the assumption they delete the post if you display someone's name.

Can we stop pretending vastly overpowered Matches are fair based on War Rating? I would rather people just admit they like it this way than argue false logic. By Primary School, the majority of people understand the difference between fair and unfair.

To me, its fair in terms of war rating which is how matches are determined. Of course it's not fair ally rating wise but ASGRD has given up on AW.

Your war rating is too high for your skill and roster. These matchups are needed to send you back where you belong.
If you'd only face evenly matched alliances and win them all you can end up in Master. Thats how it was before, that was broken. Matchmaking now works as it's supposed to.

I am unsure. Recently, I came across a case of a primary student saying the teacher is an idiot and went unpunished.

If the teacher does the same, the parents step in and complain to head of school.
