Cav Science Chapter Weakness not dropping

Running the 4* cav challenge and stuck on the first chapter due to what appears to be a bug. Despite placing non-damaging debuffs on defenders, the weakness is not falling off and appears permanent. Surfer fight worked fine this morning, and by this afternoon doom flight did not. Went back in and surfer fight is now not working as intended either.

Bump? Any updates here? Just won't do the challenge because it's not worth the potions to make fights take more than 2x as long
