Guillotine 2099 Degen

Hi there, it seems that Guilly2099 is not causing any degen until the combo hits 100+. I have an iPhone Xrs (in case that matters). I am on 6.2.1 on the tech path and I noticed when fighting Mr. Sinister that whenever I was placing a degen debuff on him there were no red numbers. I thought I was just missing it visually but then I could tell the fight was not moving as quickly cause the only damage that was occurring were the basic hits. Only after I surpassed 100 hits, then I was able to see the degen damage. I have videos of the pre-100 hits and then the post-100 hits. It’s sort of acting like Omega red where the spores don’t cause damage until you get 10 on the opponent except its 100 hits with Guilly 2099 😅

I see. So debuffs only apply when the lifecycle node is disable/cool down? But that wouldn’t make sense on the above photo ^. I was applying bleeds with Nick Fury on a different path. That way you can time the knock down and the debuff knocking them out completely. I believe the node is just saying it can’t take them out when it is active. But maybe I am reading it wrong.

Never mind. I see the description. The debuffs will show up but no damage is being done. Just did a fight with human torch. What confuses me is that void and the nova flames still cause damage and if that description is true i wouldnt see any red for guilly 2099.

The red numbers you are seeing is the energy damage she deals per hit above 100 combo. Torch's nova flames are passives, not debuffs, and are not affected by lifecycle. Void's debuffs are non-damaging. It's his abilities that deal damage rather than the debuffs themselves, so the damage is still dealt

Are those different than her degen? Man I think I learned something new about her.
