IWD Boss Rush was... a little disappointing

First off, I want to say happy International Women’s Day! And that this is not a complaint about rewards, they are great! If anything overturned for how easy the quest is.

I was looking forward to a harder bit of content after finishing 7.1 100%, but this sadly was just select some great champs, go in and not really worry about the nodes. I was hoping for maybe a quest this level and then for the profile pics would’ve loved a harder challenge difficulty. What are your thoughts???

What happened to the major step up in difficulty and rewards? This was a step down in difficulty and the 6* shards were nice, but the 5* crystal was meh.

Agree, after reading the nodes I thought it was a joke or something but sadly it wasn't and I found it disappointing. The nodes were pretty basic, the opponent's HP wasn't very high for "bosses", the rewards were far less than what I had hoped but they did match the 'difficulty' I suppose.

Would probably give it a generous 6/10.. until next year...

Apocalypse can solo the entire quest. Was hoping I'd get steamrolled by at least one fight, but nope. Ah well, I'm happy with my new 5* Ms. Marvel

Yeah all the fights were pretty easy. Used void for sorceror supreme and tigra, venom for black widow and storm, cap iw for elsa and guilly 2099 for jubilee. Nice rewards, not great but good for the difficulty. Got a 5* wasp dupe from the crystal so nothing exciting but I'll always take any 6* shards.

Your attempt at snarky humor matches Kabam's attempt at putting out competitive content.

For the simple fact that we have to wait an entire year for this boss rush, it shouldn't be "nice rewards for little effort", that could be done anytime in side quest each month. Some people do find it enjoyable to face contend that actually tests your skills and makes the rewards feel a bit more earned than what kabam delivered to us, which shouldn't even be difficult for newer players or those with limited rosters.

It was on par with other boss rush events in both effort and rewards. For me, it was actually better than the CCP bosh rush that only netted a 4* (and Antman to boot).

Never gonna feel sorry for people who think it's too easy. There are others who don't have a counter at maxed 5* or R2/R3 6* who still get a challenge and can benefit from the rewards.

I did think it was easier than other past challenges, but my roster is considerably better than it has been in the past as well. I also like that it was a reasonable time constraint and not a marathon boss rush like the spiderham celeb event. That one was a bit time consuming and repetitive.

So, for me, this hits the mark as a middle ground challenge for various account levels. Definitely not a major leap in challenge though.

It was fun - I do agree last year's was harder, but then again how many people went in with 6r3 this year that weren't as widespread back then? I used 5/65s but it was still a nice event. 6* shards were also very nice for just 6 fights.

OP - just don't brag. Man. This is obviously a cry for attention. If this is a celebration for a special day. I can tell you over 70% players will not be able to touch this content.
And this is nothing new. Some don't have proper counters. Even if they try that SS fight with a 4 star torch the block damage. Are u crazy... More difficult.
Just go play 7.1 again if u r soo bored.
People play and save their units and resources for main story and EQ, variant.

My advise to people who are feeling left out, don't feel bad. Just ignore the content.
It's just a 5 star crystal and a profile pic.
U get all of the opponent's profile pic.
Nothing that significant. This will not change your account. Just wish happy woman's day to every female community members and hold on to your own roadmap of progression. It's alright.

It was good run, not a lot to think about, could cheese it all with capIW and AA but the rewards reflected it

It's too easy 'till it's too hard. It's better to hear people complain about easiness over people whining over toughness, imo.

To be fair in kabams side the nodes weren't sett by then so they couldn't have full control on how hard it was

I think if Kabam didn't overhype it, it'd be considered a nice boss rush. The fights are fun, but last year was tougher and had more genius placements (Medusa and Quake mainly). This year is less thought through, but still presents a nice challenge for just rewards
