Is it actually possible with Doctor Octopus to keep his breakthroughs up?

As I understand it, with all categories at 100 you throw the L2 and get them going for 10.5 seconds then it’s a rush to get to L1 after L1 after L1. From my experience unless the opponent is super aggressive and you can backdraft them every time, it will eventually fall off.

Am I missing something, or is all of that the extent of his abilities?

Doc oc is a master at heavy attacks against the wall. Thats how you get to sp1 repeatedly fast.

Am I stupid or does that not consume the effects for burst damage @Buttehrs ?

Just tested it and it consumes them to where the enemy still generates power but a shortened power lock is applied.

Another way that I sometimes use Doc Ock is where I get to my sp3 with the power lock active, the so3 makes it really long which gives you more than enough time to be able to keep refreshing it with sp1

Sounds familiar.. I think I did this with his healblock against RoL Wolvie back in the day.

If his signature level is high his power steal should provide enough to get the cycle going, unless you are on oscillate node or something

You need to do first activate a corresponding way to activate armor up or heal block or power lock to then do sp3. To simplify things I will do this.

Build up to sp3 - activate the corresponding way to activate armor up, heal block or power lock - activate sp3 - avoid heavy attack as it will reset after you have activated sp3 - now you have an longer duration of either armor up, heal block or power lock - play aggressive as AI tend to act weird - if you want to refresh then you activate an sp1 and the duration refresh - repeat sp1 or sp2 depending how much power you have managed to build up before the duration ends.
