Odins Guantlet Rework

Now that Tier 10 in Odin’s Guantlet does not cost feathers and there is a 7 limit cap on it, we can use these extra 7 feathers to re-run tier 9. The extra rewards for the 7 runs in tier 9 are as follows:

3,150 T5B fragments
12,600 T2A fragments
7,000 5 star shards
x35 3,000 Iso-8 bricks

This is a very reasonable solution to the problem that arose due to the extra uru some players received. Great work Kabam.

It’s okay. Extra uru people can run T9 still. Not T5CC but it is 1,000 5* shards. This allows them to get another 5*

Edit: not complaining and I enjoy the free rewards. Just a slight criticism but it doesn’t matter. More for everyone!!

Except... the people who got in tier 9 early are still gonna be up a 5* over the rest of us regular Joe's. They did the right thing with tier 10, but just cascaded the extra rewards to tier 9 for everyone who got the early/extra runs of tier 9. Better, closer, but no cigar.

honestly I’m not really fussed about people getting an extra five star

it was the t5cc that was the issue

It's not like 5* shards are a rare commodity these days.

Hell I'm sat on 160k 5* shards and I've hardly been playing the game this last month.

Exactly, one 5* is not game-breaking for anyone uncollected or above. Anyone who is doing T10 and could get the T5cc barely needs a 5*, so I think the solution is great

I think it is a reasonable compromise given the complexity of pushing the entrance limits any lower than Tier 10. Some people have already run Tier 9 and could have spent the shards on crystals, which creates a cascade problem of how to adjust for that, and we also have to factor what happens to players who can do Tier 9 but cannot do Tier 10.

Relative to most players doing Tier 10 I believe there's a huge difference between a ~25% T5CC advantage and ~half a T2A advantage. There's also a small T5B fragment advantage, but the current resource economy ironically lowers that advantage substantially for most players doing the highest difficulty content tiers.
