What happened to Wish Crystals?

It's about time for the wish crystals to drop. The road map mentioned it to drop by late 2020 to early 2021 and ig we are pretty much there. If any update pls post below. Thanks

    Regarding the wish crystal - I think it’s a little difficult to imagine how to implement this into this game where everyone would want to wish professor X, Apocalypse, Colossus, omega red and many many many god tier champions.

    It would in so many ways disturb the balance of the game and if I was a part of the game team I definitely would say no to implement wish crystal.

    If the game team still want to implement this wish crystal system then they have to get a new content idea as something like Abyss Of Legends version 2.0 or something like that is even more longer fights and more difficulty nodes being created from creativity and creating content is already difficulty to make because folks that earned from the wish crystal will just finish those contents way too quick and then complain there’s nothing to do.

    Those who finish content too quick, surely aren’t waiting for wish crystals to obtain a champ. They have literally nearly all of them as 6*s.
    Wish crystals aren’t anything that are going to amaze the whales.
    They will be amazing for low/medium range players though.
    As for the crystals themselves they seem to have the masteries changes fate 🤣

    I was gonna make a neat analogy, but let's settle with 'coding r hard'.

    With a codebase like mcoc where new features (aka bloat) are constantly added, it can honestly become such a mess that adding the smallest of things can be the Nero to your Rome.

    That isn't even accounting for how to balance the things.

    As a rarity it wouldn't disturb anything. The fact is the top tier of players acquire champs pretty quickly through cav crystals anyway. The complete inability to obtain a specific champ for everyone else despite their best efforts has long been a trouble point for the rest of us who don't drop a fortune. Even this whole wish crystal wouldn't let you get a certain champ, just one of a group you can't otherwise get. I've wasted hundreds of thousands of 6* shards trying to get Apoc, well over a million 5* shards and still nothing. I'm rounding out act 6 exploration and when I'm done i won't have much to do and frankly the frustration of constantly opening crystals for one champ and never getting them ill be taking my second long duration break from the game if by then I'm still aimlessly chasing apoc. It just gets old after a while. If this is the best way they can come up with to alleviate that frustration I'm all for it, pretty sure the majority of players are too.
    that is something i didn't think off. I would imagine that wish crystal could be a temporary thing from time to time.
