NT worth rank up & AG just for synergy? How many sigs?

Hi Guys.

So I just pulled a skill AG from the tier 10 casket, and now I have two of them. One is reserved for whenever I get a 5* Mole Man (been hunting for him via featured and dual crystals, hopefully sooner or later will get him) and I already have a maxxed R5 Aegon and an awakened R5 Nick Fury

Which leaves me with Night Thrasher as the only real candidate for using this gem. I have a 5* NT that has been sitting at R3 since forever because I find him "meh". Been using my 6* R1 Falcon instead for whatever I would want NT for but .....

..... last week I pulled a 6* CGR, took him to R2 immediately and omg that NT synergy is juicy. Even better still If I decide to bring Mr. Fantastic . But If I were to put NT on a team with CGR I would want him at R4 at least, R5 likely later, because I dont like my synergy piece champs to be complete deadweights on a team. This is the reason why I will eventually r5 my Wasp soon (cuz I have a 6* Ghost too) and why I will also r5 eventually my Heimdall too. If they are gonna be on a team I want them to be reliably ranked up in case I need them, or just to put them to work in a quest for variety's/fun's sake.


So here's my question to you. Should I rank up NT just for the CGR synergy? If I do should I awaken him or not? Why? If awakened how many sig stones should I put into him as a minimum?

Don't rank up NT, he doesn't bring much to the table and his CGR synergy is meh.

    For those of you who voted to awaken him, plz let me know what'll be the optimal sig level he should be at. ( have about 50 skill sig stones, could take him to 200 with generic ones but dont wanna use that many generics on him).

    If you really like the synergy take him up and bring him to max sig. I’d be too much for me but it sounds like you really like it so that’s a different story.

    Honestly, if it's 5 star, just awaken and rank him if you like him. 5 star materials are way more common now. Can be used for "fun" champs even if they aren't the best

    After reading about the BP buff I decided to wait on using the skill gem on NT. Have a classic BP so who knows, might be better than NT. We'll see
