Xbones is about sometimes dashing back and playing semi-normally (parry heavy is normal these days), also heavy punish and heavy intercept is a common tactics
Nova is about dashing in, which is equally often used as an opening as parry for lategame (meaning you intercept about equally often as you parry)
Howard is about the mashing, which is unique, also you wanna mash rather than attack in some occasions imo (such as parry mash heavy mash)
Sure, a lot of the time spent using him will be parry-heavy, but his Fury is a lot easier to maintain than Crossbones, whose Fury buffs require somewhat more maintenance a bit like Civil Warrior.
I don't have Nova, but I don't see him being more friendly than Howard, who at least comes with a decent auto-mash feature.
I think Howard. I personally haven't tried him without the pre-fight, so take this with a grain of salt.
With the pre-fight active, all you need to do is constantly parry and throw a few heavy attacks. Howard's playstyle isn't very stressful, since his furies only fall off one at a time.

None of these champions is played correctly if played with a standard parry 5 combo.
