Does Silver Surfer 6 star have any utility?

Asking as Im trying to decide if I should go for the new featured 6 star crystal now that Howard and Crossbones have got decent buffs.

Why is Silver Surfer the basis of your decision? In my opinion, I wouldn't go for the featured, as there are some big duds (Mephisto, Doctor Strange, Black Bolt, Super-Skrull, Thor, etc.)

Silver surfer has highest prestige in game
100% less damage from shock,incerate,cold snap and also deals energy damage on any debuff or buff on himself ...he is a decent

he's not the sole basis but is 1 of the key "Consolation pulls" I feel if I miss the top pulls like stryfe, g2099, iabom, etc

He is a good option for both Buffed up and Diss track. He has got easy access to Armor breaks which is handy against a lot of nodes/champion abilities. He benefits from certain debuffs as opposed to being outright immune, which can be a pro and a con.

His Phase ability could be practiced with, but could have some interesting applications. You'd have to work out the timing, but he can easily heavy intercept when needed (like a stun immune defender on Flux dispersal / Lifecycle). You can bait hard to dex SP1/SP2 and phase the remaining projectiles.

From what I've read, he's good and can counter many nodes and champs.... but he really benefits from his sig , and high sig at that ( and not just for prestige that is). At 200 sig all his buffs gain 50% potency, which is massive, specially for his power gain and his armor ups. At 130 sig he gets about 25% potency increase, which gives you an idea of how many sigs you'll need for him to shine.
