If you did it earlier in the day and didn't defeat the boss, the rewards didn't reset.

No u dont get key back if u quit also i dunno why people quit out as its been stated the quest isnt putting rewards back unless finishing the run

If you quit before you finish the boss, the path rewards won’t reset next time you enter, unless you wait 24 hours. I believe it was intended for the path rewards to reset after quitting out of the quest, but something went wrong and it’s bugged, so you need to either finish the boss or wait until the daily timer resets.
