Dash back glitch

I'm having issues where the champs are charging a heavy attack when I dash back. The issue is not constant as it comes and goes. Iphone7. Happens more frequently in some content like the special quest. Is there a common fix? Phone or game issue?

This and other dash back issues have been around for a very long time.

Doubt they will ever be fixed.

I have the opposite problem. Sometimes when I hold block I dash forward instead.
