Question about sig levels.

Why is is AA and the122 sig is idea? (I don't understand?) I'm ftp and attempting to finish act 5, just the collector left, Is Warlock worth a tech gem? (I have 3), if so, What sig can I get away with? I don't have 200 stones to pump into him, Thanks in advance. Also, is there any "ideal" champs for the collector or just roll with the punches? I can show a screen shot of champs if necessary.
