'Crit Me With Your Best Shot' node not working as intended in AQ

I run the 'Crit Me With Your Best Shot' path in section 1 of map 7. I cannot parry stun and when the defender strikes my block they can crit through my block. I can also deal damage to the defender on my non-crit hits.
