Thor heavy attacks

Is anyone else missing a ton of heavy attacks while using Thor? I'm missing about 50% of my heavy attacks (not counting when my opponent evades).

And Dormamu - been going through or stopping right in front of opponents, especially after the opp comes down at the end of their heavy attack...

For me, I'm having problem with Thor Jane Foster, but the original Thor is fine for me (though his heavy attack range is also pretty short, but at least it still hits most of the times)
