Elsa Bloodstone Med Combo Not Hitting Evading Champ

Didn't have any issues until today.
When using Elsa to fight Sym Spider-Man on Mixmaster Node when using her Medium combo finisher she is not landing the hit to apply Freeze. As in, the evade triggers and she misses.
I did check that she had ammo.
I used what revives I had thinking it was a fluke, same thing happened 3 more times. I've cleared this fight many times over the month with no problem, I only have a couple keys left. Has something changed?
