Quick question/clarification: Medusa's Sig

Hey all, just need a quick clarification because I'm not 100% sure what this means:

Medusa's Sig: "When struck twice, Medusa has an x%chance to autoblock, breaking opponent's combo for the cost of 3 fury buffs"

What do they mean by "struck twice"? If let's say I hit her once, and a few seconds later I hit her once again, does that count as being struck twice? Or does it mean struck twice in quick succession (like in a combo, for instance)?

Is hit twice in the same combo. So you can hit her once, block/dash back, hit her again. As long as it isn't twice in a row (in the same combo opening).
