Is this supposed to happen

So I’m fighting the gwenmaster in her 4th phase. I end the phase with an s3 and she gains 2 bars of power, however instead of using her s2, she heavy stuns me since I had a passive shock on me. However the next time I went in, she was in the armor break phase, even though she didn’t use her s2 in the previous fight. So I wasn’t able to deal damage in that phase. And then it happened again in phase 5, I knocked her down to end the cycle and again she doesn’t use her s2 and I died since I was at low health. Then in the next fight she went into her armor phase and again I wasn’t able to deal any damage from the s2. Is anyone else having this issue because as far as I’m concerned she should be using her s2 right away once I complete the phase and not using heavies

It’s not an immediate thing, but this allows for you to get more damage in while she “looks” for a time to throw her special. It sucks in your case, but for me, it has just given me more time to do more damage or even throw a special attack before she switches to the next phase. My advice, if you keep experiencing that, is just to not worry about hitting her and just continuously bait the special so she is almost forced to throw it. Focusing on dex-ing and not hitting her might help you avoid annoying heavy attacks or just stay alive until she uses the sp and damages herself. It’s similar to a champ that has “very low chance to throw sp 1 or sp 2, and much higher chance to throw sp3” where when they get to sp3, they don’t always throw it immediately, sometimes they see the opportunity to throw a combo, or sometimes you have time to throw a combo or two.

(This may be unintended, but it makes sense to me).

You still have to bait her special 2 she does not just throw it once there, although releases it pretty easy after maybe single dex
