Boss Kill!!

How did we loose this war? Only major thing our counterpart had was the boss kill and they were 4 people short of a bg! So technically boss kill gives away whatever effort our other defenders put in? In that case, we can also save our champs to take out the boss (do the boss rush) then what’s the point of it being an alliance event!!

    if you don't take out the boss, you don't get the points for clearing the battlegroup. looks like they cleared all 3, and you cleared none of the 3. that's why you lost

    Yes. The point of the war is to kill the boss. That's quite literally how it has always been since season 1.

    It's a bit like catching the snitch in quidditch... most of the time it guarantees the win regardless of the other stats.
