**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.
There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.

Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

Why does this happen?

Why do evade defenders counter attack each time they evade? You can't do that as an attacker yet defenders are able to do it.
Is this a bug or is it working as intended?

Just weird that there is something only defenders can do.
Currently exploring Cav eq and I hate that Spider-Man. I guess it's time to rank up Elsa

You can actually do this yourself, it’s just not very consistent. And while you may think the AI can do it consistently it’s actually not that consistent at all.

The issue here is that if you want to do it, you’ll get hit a few times before you pull it off, and that’ll get you killed. Because usually the opponent only has to hit us 1-3 combos depending on the content, but we have to hit the opponent 50-100 times.

But because the AI doesn’t care if it gets hit, it just throws attacks after evading and sometimes they hit you.

The other thing is that most of the time, if you throw a medium attack to end your combo it has a couple extra milliseconds of animation than a light attack. This means you’ve got extra time when you’re in dead space for the AI to react and hit you.

A small tip is when you’re fighting evaders and you can’t just parry MLM, try and go MLLL and then back off. If they evade during, you should be able to react and they won’t be able to counter attack you. The issue is when you end with a MLLLM, and they have more time to counter attack

You can actually go test this out yourself. Take an evade champ into a lower duel, and let them hit you. While they hit you, tap your light attack constantly. Most of the time, if you evade on one of their light attacks, they’ll carry on their combo and hit you, because you don’t have time to react. But if you evade one of their medium attacks, you can counter attack really quickly.

This has turned out way longer than I expected, so, sorry for the essay lol. I just found this interesting and went out and tested it.

It's a pretty interesting essay. I'll test it out.

When someone gives you a whole story of what the mechanism is, and then you come saying it is a bug again.
And, @BitterSteel , thank you for the idea of MLLLL combo's
