I'm at 6.2.6

I'm planning to use my r4 5* sig 86 sorcerer supreme, and I was wondering if anyone had any tips (synergies, how many points in MD, how many units should I stockpile etc.) Also, some general tips for the fight itself, especially with SS, would be nice.

6.2.6 Champion was actually one of my favorite bosses. He is relatively easy once you get the rhythm of the fight down. Take the middle path of course, because then you will take out all of the linked nodes out. For the fight itself, I would recommend dueling a champion and just push him to a special 1 and practice dexing it as best you can. I like the dash in right before the last hit and then dash back to dex the final hit. For the rest of the phases, just try to always have at least one stagger on him and you should be fine. Just play SS as you normally just be careful with the parry's and the block damage. It is definitely doable with a r4, it will just be longer than if it was an r5.

Just to be certain, are you talking about sorcerer supreme? I know symbiote supreme is one of the best options, but I dont have him. I know I put SS, so that could be confusing.

Sorcerer supreme works great for the champion, just spam sp1 to nullify the buffs. The slow-champion interaction is wonky, so I’d bank an armor break or regen rune and then rely on the nullification aura.
Symbiote supreme also works great for the champion. Apply stagger and play decent and you can get him down.

MD would be very helpful but not required. I would practice dexing his sp1 in duels. You need to figure out if you want to dex the second chop in his sp1 or the headbutt. For units I’d recommend at least 400, enough for 10 revives.
Oh, and the easy path is the one that removes all the links.
    You got this!

Just beat it, although it took me more revives than it should have! R4ed my Aegon, then got a skill rank up gem out of the crystal, so now I feel like an idiot O_o.
