**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.
There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.

Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

AW potions improvement

First of all, thanks for finally looking at improving wars. It was long overdue.

Fewer and fewer alliances / players are interested in wars, at least on a higher level (P1-3 and higher).
The main reason is the cost of doing wars in expert tiers compared to rewards.

Wars are costly because of potions. The amount of health you get from potions is too small compared to the current health pools of r3 6* attackers. So you may need at least 5-6 of them to half heal an attacker. And they cost a lot.

If an alliance member needs 5 potions per war, that means 60 potions per season, which equals 15600 glory (if purchased with glory) / 4800 units (if purchased with units) per season. Many spend most of their glory on war potions (based on our experience as a P1 alliance). This has to change.

And some members spend even more. In addition to buying offers for new champs / boosts etc etc.

The post about upcoming changes mentioned improving quality of life for top war alliances. Resolving the potion issue could really help with that.

Please consider the following changes in one of the next updates. They would make more players interested in doing wars again and it will pay off. You can't just milk all the resources / units / money from a small number of top alliances.

1. Make potions percentage-based or increase the amount of health in each pot by at least 30%.

2. Allow the purchase of potions with an adequate amount of health in loyalty store, at a reasonable price (maybe 10k or so).

3. Remove price increase from each consecutive purchase of potions on the same day in the glory store.

4. Reduce the price of potions purchased with glory and units.

Do look at the potion situation before more people quit doing competitive wars.

(P.S. the number of potions listed is the average in our alliance (expert tier), some spend 10 per war, some 0, however the item use is inevitably high.

To anticipate some of the questions:

1. Get good and don't spend potions - there is unavoidable block damage in top tier wars sometimes and using potions is a must if we don't want to lose bonus in later fights. Which we don't.

2. You want rewards? Pay for it - we want to pay an adequate price and not a fortune for tiny heals that are way behind the current state of the game
