    Take nick up and dupe him. He is a beast. Aegon needs dupe as well but I prefer nick for story like act4 and 5. In act 6, 5star aegon is mvp. I used nick all my way through act4 and now aegon helped me get through the entire act6. But for now, u go nick and dupe him.

    If you get aegon duped, he will shred. Especially in act 5 on my baby account he has helped me so much. Just ramping him up, which works really well in 5.3, he can get super high combos and absolute destruction follows. Nick and molegod are really good, but they are more do good damage. Aegon is more, starts ok, gets insane.

    Aegon is great too, don't get me wrong. But it's just that quick evade counter, unblockable, huge bleeds, great base attack (along with the fury from awakened ability) is just very useful when it comes to ACT 4 & 5.
    As @DawsMan had mentioned, both really need the awakening, and Aegon needs high sigs too.
    But the above mentioned abilities would make me prefer Nick over Aegon.

    Aegon hits very hard with the ramp up. Just that, much of his utility needs his combo to be high.

    I'd go with Nick Fury any day until I got a 5* Aegon. Aegon has his uses in regular content, but he's best suited for long content like Abyss of Legends and stuff like that. I never tried him in early 4* content, but I suspect that Nick is more beginner-friendly by far.

    This debate would’ve been almost even around the time this post was created, but now 9 in 10 people will go for the clear cut winner in Nick Fury
