    I would wait out on rank 2ing either as ghulk is niche and mephisto is just meh.

    Mephisto is immune to coldsnap, incinerate, and poison and deals some pretty nice damage, not to mention a nice safeguard and his soul imprisonment. Ghulk if you havent explored v7
