She hits very hard, just her special are incredibly weak. It doesn't make sense.

If they were to scale up her special damage then they would likely scale down her base damage to match. She has good damage and tons of utility. Be glad she is the way she is.
Your theory would be nice if she is the hardest hitter. But she is not.

Even in cosmic class there are ton of champions who hits as hard or harder and having big specials at the same time. Hyperion, CMM, Venom, CG, Medusa ... So Angela is an anomaly that doesn't make sense at all.

Well Hyperion is dependent on rng to hit as hard as her, Medusa does not hit as hard as her with basic attacks, cm you gotta ramp up and Corvus is a limited time. Venom is soso, now if you said cgr then yah he hits harder and he does it really fast.

The specials are low as people have mentioned is about keeping certain buffs up than just about damage from specials

Void and Omega red don’t hit hard because they are constantly ticking away health from the opponent. Voids debuffs deal damage without any actual work for the player and it applies to every opponent. Omega is similar. They can’t hit hard and be constantly draining health from the opponent. There has to be a balance

it's better than Groot and King Groot (except the poison damage)

Actually, I'm pretty sure Angela's Specials hit harder after her buff. Although that might be due to the Armour Break rather than a change in Special damage.

Angela is designed to be a champ who hits hard on basic attacks; and gain buffs on her Special Attacks.

Angela is admittedly rubbish on Power Shield nodes. On the other hand, there are times where it's helpful to have a champ who can hit hard without deploying Special Attacks; or maintaining a combo.

This month's Cav EQ against Guilly 2099, if you hit her with a Special she gains debuff Immunity. No specials = no Immunity. There are other nodes that punish you for knocking opponents down in different ways; and Angela is a good option against them.

Well she gains immunity if you knock her down, which you need to do to remove her digi cloak.

Hitting her while she's stunned makes it go on cooldown without triggering

You don't need to, to win the fight though. Avoiding specials is a definite option in a fight like this.

    Guilly's Digi-cloak has a nice long cool-down.

Personally I found it easiest to take an Awakened Thor, parry her and use short combos to deliberately trigger the cloak (preferably whilst she was still stunned - her +200% Ability Accuracy can be used against her, in this way).

Then play defensively (parrying if you can, to stack armour breaks) whilst it's up; and go berserk with basic attacks whilst the cloak is on cool-down.

This works particularly nicely for Thor (or Corvus) who inflict Armour break debuffs on blocking. But as a strategy it'll work well with any champion, really. I did basically the same thing with Stealthy, as managing a MLLLL combo to place a Slow debuff is almost impossible if you aren't doing it during cool-down. Once you've got the first Slow placed; just keep it up and you can pretty much ignore the Cloak for the rest of the fight. As long as you don't knock her down and make her immune to the Slow debuffs...

I may be mistaken but I feel like she would have an advantage because if her main damage came from specials she wouldn’t be as suicide friendly but since she really doesn’t need her specials except for specific scenarios the suicides only help her cause she doesn’t need to suffer recoil she just hits hard
