Tech r5 rank up time. Help me pick!

As part of my efforts to speed up my progression to thronebreaker, I’m focusing on AQ to gather rank up resources to significantly expand my r5/r2 roster to push through act 6.3 and act 6.4. Currently I have 5* Doom, Magneto, and Torch, and 6* Prof X residing within the r5/R3 club. I’m now in need of a double DOT immunity champ to join that club, and so I turn my head towards robots.

The Choices:

Awakened sig 60 Sentinel vs Unawakened Guillotine 2099. I do possess 2 generic awakening gems, but I’m extremely hesitant to use it on Guilly. I do not run suicides, nor do I plan to any time soon at all. I really like them both, but I’m not sure which one to take up, so who should I go with?

    G2099 is better overall than Sentinel and her awakened ability isn’t that big of a deal

    I use both and IMO G2099 is more versatile, so she gets my vote over Sentinel!

    I voted for guilly but if you are wanting to do some progression through the variants then I think sentinel would be a better option for that. He is a good choice for several of them.

    Be it whatever content apart from that Sentinel variant, I see Guilly 2099 has more uses. No crits, burst damage, regen ( A good one too), excellent power control, and the heal reversal is kinda nice sometimes too...

    Sentinel is great, but She'd help you more through the game.

    Sentinel if you want to use variant rewards to fuel progression, G2099 otherwise. It really depends on what you've done and what alternatives you have.

    G2099 absolutely amazing for AQ. In Map 5 and 6 she can run any path and solo Apoc at the end.

    If you haven't explored Variants 2 & 3 though there's a case for Sentinel.
