is Hit-Monkey over hyped?

Heard so many people talk about Hit-Monkey as if the skill version of Corvus.

I have a 5* R5 Hit-Monkey. Considering that I don't have Nick Fury nor Aegon, I think Hit-Monkey is quite good. Would like to get some input from you guys.

If you have a 6* Hit-Monkey, would you make it your first R3 Skill champion?

    Over hyped, barely used

He's very squishy but very fun due to unblockable/critical bleeds. Not really comparable to corvus, but he is barely top 5 skill (at least in my experience). Still would r3

He's an r3 candidate even if he's not your first (with suicides)

Definitely not Corvus, but he is a great champ and really fun to play. I think the primary reason he is compared to Corvus is due to his ability to crit every hit in the MLM combo. He is great with suicides because he can shrug them off and doesn't particular need SP1 or SP2, although SP2 can be crit every hit as well. I use him a lot as maxed 5*. Would definitely take a 6* to R3 as his main drawback is low health pool/block proficiency.

    Let me clarify....

Barely used if your roster is big. Easily replaced if it isnt currently. Good for r2 as he can be placed on defense after he is no longer used in your attack teams. R3 if best champ just to get thronebreaker, but not really worthy unless he's your favorite champ or need to place r3 on defense.
