Hit, dash back, wait / bait opponent attacks, attack as they recover, repeat. It'll take a while to get the hang of it but later it'll be fun

MLLL - dash back to phase - Let the opponent miss an attack - then MLLL combo again. repeat this. You don't necessarily need to parry as the phasing mechanic is quite useful.
Use heavy attack to gain fury buff and non-crit light/medium attacks have a chance to gain cruelty buff.

Once you're at 2 bars of power, dash back to phase and use Special 2 immediately so that all hits are critical.
Also, can use wasp synergy to make the special attacks unblockable when using while phasing.

Just play a lot and you will get the rhythm eventually.
Look out for videos on youtube to understand more. (Jason Voorhees has some great tutorials on how to play a champ)
