Summoner Showdown Week 1 - Can anything compete with Hercules?

I've seen some crazy times from people who have a 5 star Hercules. I managed to do it with Shang Chi, but nowhere close to the 4-5 minute times that I've seen so far from people who have him. Seems like a week just made for Hercules.

Note: Not complaining, more power to those people who have the champ ranked up and 5 star. Just wondering if there's anyone else that might be able to come close to that quick of a finish. Champs i've tried and had at least moderate success with: Sig 200 Stark spidey, G2099 sig 20, sig 40 NF, aegon, sig 200 namor. None were as fast as shang chi

    i think it’s unfair to make it 70 tries given there’s no actual rewards. i expected at least 100 entries. my warmups are 20 entries already. and rng can be so so cruel. when everything goes ok KG cuts your medium intercept with a light attack and you’re done. and that entry thing is stressful plays with your mind.

    This is one of the reasons that lower difficulties are there.

    The attempts are fine for me, but the main issue is that its poorly designed imo, if you dont own the top option all guess what you have 0 chance at qualifying, kabam should have learned from last year we should all have been put in a beta or something and been able to use any champ.
    I totally agree with this.
    I wouldn’t compete anyway, but I feel pity for those who have the skills and were intended to put the effort, and can’t compete, because they don’t own a newer champ, that seems to be the appropriate for qualification.
    But it is what it is 🤔

    Yep I myself am missing the 3 best champs for it (at least imo) Proxima Midnight, Hercules and Tigra, so yeah im pretty salty lol

    exact same reason i give up when i pass 4 mins. what’s the point? if this is a speed run there should be at least multiple options for everyone. other than that bad rng is involving, kg goes super defensive etc.

    if you have hercules with full suicides and know how to intercept, you have miles better chance than others. hercules, just released.

    I just wanted this to be a contest about skill, not about having a specific champ. Granted, there's a good chance i still wouldn't come near the top, but I agree, this would have been better if it was on the beta for sure. Equal access to all champs, then you have to decide which champ is the right one and bring the skill. RNG is a thing no matter what champ you have, so can't really be mad about that. Hopefully Kabam reads this and takes note of player's concerns for the coming weeks, i'm not sure if it's top times for individual weeks or if it's tallied for all the weeks combined

    I beat the Silver King Groot with a 4* r4 Proxima with 3/5 of the Thing cheese synergy.

    Talking about the actual summoner showdown, where you can't bring a team and you have encroaching stun. I beat the silver 4* king groot with star lord, it's really easy
