Watching nimrods i just like kitty more not because damage but utility nimrod synergies do suggest mastermold i believe but its just another shock tech if sentinel would of liked nimrod getting both shock and incinerates since hes still a sentinel but more advanced so the immunity to aar is only good thing since does counter mutants for mags and domino who has some aar in base kits

It's clear the purpose is to prevent Magneto from one shotting Nimrod with a sp3. They could have just flat out put armor break immunity but instead this way you are still able to armor shatter him with Medusa or Vision Aarkus, so this is a reverse of the peni situation where counterplay was actually thought of.

Nimrod actually looks really good, lots of viable utility and his damage looks alright. Rotation should be pretty accessible with the energize

Nimrod was made to adapt to mutants and crush them so I see no wrong with him being able to beat magneto

I’m confused with people complaining nimrod can counter magneto, that’s what nimrod was made for to counter mutants ALL MUTANTS.

Am I the only one that thinks he looks a little silly? He’s like a blob, wish he had some sharper lines. Seems pretty cool though.

My main problem with Nimrod's ability to counter Mags is that it's only useful on defense. On offense, the block penetration will chip you down, Mags will reverse your sp3 regen, his damage is through shocks which Mags has 90% resistance to. He looks more like a White Mags counter but then your power rate is reduced and he gains more attack essentially negating your class advantage.
If you're going to make a Mags counter, at least make him useful to the players.
