Horseman abilities not working in AQ, Anyone else having this issue?

I just started day one of AQ and use apoc charges to make AA a horseman and it did not work but now apoc charges state it has been used..... So im guessing this is another bug so wondering if anyone else has this issue?
im using an iphone xr and up to date ios and it happened in AQ.

    Sadly it has been bugged a while, to the point I stopped activating it.

    Yeah, this has been happening to me to. It’s been on and off but it’s definitely still a problem kabam needs to address.
