Cap iw Bug with Proxima in the eventquest

Hi guys,

I seem to encounter a strange phenomen. I am fighting with cap against proxima at the boss node in the eventquest (cavalier). And Everytime I get a kinetic charge, it gets immediately removed and the log says purified. But I was not affected by any sort of debuff at the time.
Anyone seen this happening before?

Actually you are getting a debuff just an invisible one. This node has mystic conditioning which when you nullify a buff your nullify abilities ability accuracy is reduced by X% per every time you nullify. After the initial nullify it places an invisible debuff on you, which will continue to reapply it self after every time you purify it.

So every kinetic charge you gain, is instantly used to purify that invisible debuff that continues to apply itself.

The problem regarding this is that at the time I stun, I don't purify a buff on her.

So I don't see any connection to mystic conditioning. Because if a get that invisible buff, I should get it if I remove a buff and not while I apply a debuff on her.

To the post regarding shang-chi:

Proxima has -200 ability accuracy reduction for the attacker while blocking.

two invosible interactions happening here.
1; armour breaks act as nullify triggers
2; nullifying with the mystic conditioon node means an invisible debuff is placed on you .

so when you parry and apply armour break, an invisible debuff is placed which is purified using kinetic shield

It happens even without a cosmic since when ever kinetic shield is up every hit is trying to nullify even though no buffs to try and nullify this also results into 100% nullify reduction

I want to add that I noticed something was up when I was fighting proxima with my dr doom. In fact, I was healing through willpower even though I had no debuffs on me. I suppose there's a bug with the game thinking proxima is applying a debuff on the attacker. Even though there's no visible debuff. Said debuff also seems to have no negative effect as I haven't noticed any effect on my attackers.

Here I remembered I had taken a screenshot when I noticed this. Forgot to post it though. Here it is. You can see I have no debuff on me and while I'm clearly executing my sp I'm regenning through willpower. No suicides. Just 1 point in willpower

P.S. screenshots were taken from 2 different runs as you can see from the different hp bars. In both cases you can see doom is regenning while having no debuff on him

It has everything to do with it. In the past it was a debuff then something changed about it likely due to it being buggy and a corresponding icon was never added for the effect.

The following video in the quote shows how it was once a debuff. A patch or two after the post it was changed.

The node Mystic Conditioning (present in Act 6.2.6) appears to reduce overall offensive ability accuracy rather than the stated chance reduction of Nullify, Stagger and Fate Seal. Included is a video in which Morningstar fails to proc her bonus damage from her special 1 on multiple occasions throughout. I have also witnessed the node failing Hyperion’s Cosmic charges gain from the use of his special 3. This has been present for multiple game updates.
