General tips?

Hi all, I’m just a fairly decent player (I think) but I cannot seem to get anywhere. I’ve been playing almost 3 years and I’ve just recently (within the last year) gotten my third 6 star. My problem is I feel like I’m just spinning my wheels. I’m only in the second chapter of act 4, and I cannot get a decent win streak in multiple arenas that aren’t 4 star (I’m lucky to get to 6 or 7 fights in a row).

Generally, what should/could I be doing to better my game?

    Maybe this isn't the best time b/c of the current issues with dex/parry, but do you have both of those masteries active? Those are the most fundamental moves in the game that you need to master in order to progress.

    Another important piece is to be a part of an alliance, preferably one where they communicate through a 3rd party application (usually Discord or Line). By participating in alliance quest and alliance war, you're forced to get better. And through your interacting/communicating with other players, you'll learn a lot.

    Lastly, be sure to do the monthly EQ/SQ before they expire.

    Look up mastery setups. This helps with damage, giving and receiving.

    look up infinite streaks for arenas. This was a pain point for me for a long time. I didn't know anything about death matchups and I was stuck in the same cycle.

    Get on youtube. There is videos out there for the basics or just watch what they do. Dexting and parry are probably your main focus at act 4.

    Also. Don't rely on your 6 star champs to carry you. They might be trash and useless if you don't know how to use their mechanics.

    To be blunt if you have 3 6 stars and struggle with Act 4 then the problem is you.
    Ignore the arenas and just push the quests.

    As they said above, get masteries set first.

    After that, you need to find your problems. For most people they fall into 3 categories;

    1) route planning: you should be looking ahead at all of the nodes, and selecting the right counters from your team

    2) knowing your champs: do you really understand the nuances of the champions you use most frequently? For the moment I would avoid having high skills champs (quake, tigra, Prof X etc), and learn how to get the absolute most out of champs like Colossus, Doom and Warlock

    3) rushing fights: its super common to treat everything like a speed run. Some fights just take longer to play properly, and trying to end them in 30 seconds will make you play poorly

    Good luck OP!
