Stun reflection on AW by Diablo

Diablo has the ability of stun immunity if he is selected with the grain of Uru. I selected it and used at AW node 35 & 45 but was failed.
Is it bug? Or something i did not fully understand about this ability?

it occurs during philosopher's mix, which happens after you launch a special. But the timer runs out. It's longer based on which special you do (sp1 is shortest, sp2 longer; sp3 longest)
