Never played either champion but I've narrowed my choices down to either blade or stealthy.

Decided squirrel girl just isn't as good of a choice and crossbones is a bit a stressful champ (for me at least).

    Play them first. Never really needs to be awakened but if you like them then do it.

    Blade needs the awakening gem, Stealthy not nearly as much.
