Number 1. The resources and effort needed to be put into the Cavalier objectives is so terrible
Number 2. The event was bugged so people weren’t getting points.
Number 3. People have wasted tons of iso and catalysts just for it all to get shut down.
Consider: we've been telling people for a while now you don't need to do all of them, just one of them. But because doing that one objective only unlocks the next one in that tier, what if a player does Proven in one week but discovers that the easiest one for them to do next week is Uncollected due to circumstances? They cannot just do that one objective, because the only way to get it is to go back and do the previous week Uncollected to unlock it.
When the objectives come back, players cannot simply pick one of them and do ten levels of it (or whatever the numbers get changed to be) because most players won't see all of the tiers, because we've been telling people they don't need to do all of them. What if the tier that they see happens to be a tier of champion they aren't in a position to level up? They cannot pick a different tier, because to unlock it they would have had to do the entire chain of that tier prior. So yeah, if the player doesn't have any 3* champs to level up because they are all max level, and they don't have any 5* or 6* champs to level because they are all leveled high enough that they don't have the resources to go farther, they can just level up some 4* champs. IF they had unlocked the entire Proven chain up to now. If not, they would have to go back to that tier and do *all* of the objectives they hadn't done yet.
The fundamental problem here isn't that the objectives are ornery or they focus on problematic activities. That's all true, but this issue goes beyond that. It is that each objective depends on a prior one and Kabam hasn't accounted for the fact that the best tier to do in one week may not be the best tier to do in the next week, but players don't get to arbitrarily choose which tier to do.
If completing any one of the tiers in week one unlocked *all* of the tiers in week two, that would be different. But because completing a tier in week one only unlocks that tier in week two, you can't just tell the players "you only need to do." because that's not true in the general case. They only need to do this, but that requires something else, which requires something else, which requires something else. They have to do them all, and they won't know which ones they need to do until they reach the end, unless they tackle them all to begin with.
This was all true before today, but the rank up objective really crystallizes it in my mind, because while you could make a case that someone doing Proven in week one probably wants to do Proven in week two, when it comes to rank up options that's completely disconnected from progression. Some players don't have the champs necessary for higher tiers, but some also have already ranked up all the options in lower tiers. Even if rank up options exist many will be very problematic for many players, forcing them to do very suboptimal things. This one is very problematic to attach to a progression chain of objectives for that reason. If players were allowed to choose any tier and tackle it, it would still be highly problematic. But if they are funneled into one of them because we told the players "you only need to do one" the odds of running into a problem rise exponentially.
Maybe there’s another way around it that doesn’t involve crafting a new objective, but I’m too tired to think of one.

To be clear (because I think there’s some confusion on this point), precisely how many of either of these objectives does someone need to complete to be eligible for the October quest?
I may be mistaken, but I believe these are the corresponding Week 2 objectives for proven and conqueror (although they may be Week 1).
Dr. Zola
If you’re one of the people who has only been doing the Cavalier objectives and can’t afford to do this week, you need to go back ALL the way to week one and grind out the lower difficulties, just so you can even UNLOCK next months quest.
I'd be curious to know what percentage of the players has reached week four completion of at least one tier. If that number is less than say 80% of the percentage of players that does side quests in general, I'd say Kabam would have no choice but to unlock October for everyone. Even that value is squirrely to me, but anything below that value is unquestionably bad news. That would make the September objectives less of an engagement tool and more of a deterrent to playing the October content. That would be untenable.
Dr. Zola
Or when will a decision be reached on the following issues -
1. CGR login crystal issue
2. Single player resource package issue
3. Gold, iso used for level up for removed objectives issue
Thank you in anticipation of further communication.
Not good enough. Not even close. Doesn’t matter what you say you are wrong. Completely and utterly. No further discussion. Don’t even bother replying.
I’m holding out hope, I may be being a little naively optimistic but I am just going to wait and see how Kabam deal with this. There’s still a chance they deal with it in the right way, and if they don’t, that’s when my negative feedback will be given.
