Kabam you mentioned a desire to communicate with the community in a more pro-active manor but with the overwhelming amount of negative feedback have failed to even leave a comment anywhere saying that you are reviewing the feedback and communicating internally.

Small things go a long way

First step is just to say we see what the community is saying and have started an internal conversation.

@Texas_11 because guillotine was already good and playable before this overhaul. Same like Hood. Now they kind of downgraded her.

DDHK couldnt do anything and after his buff he at least had some abilities and became better. Not good, but still better than before.

They haven’t changed DDHK. What makes you think they will change gully?

I’m not looking for them to re-overhaul her, I just want to know what the goal was with her. Her overhaul didn’t really give her any new capabilities, which is what I imagine most people were hoping for when they voted for an overhaul.

She clearly has better damage potential (without synergy) and her healing is no longer tied to her sig ability which is good although I don’t love that her healing potential is lower than it originally was. I also appreciate that her souls don’t decay the way they originally did. But she doesn’t really do anything new. No buff control, no power control, no new piece of utility at all besides that mostly offensively useless Pain Split mechanic. For the most part she does what she always did in different ways, which isn’t what many of us had hoped to see.

Just want somebody to let us know what’s up/what the takeaway from all this has been.

Exactly, the community wants to feel heard.

This is something I can get behind and understand. You are basically saying it was just a damage buff and not necessarily a value add to the game. Similar to Gamora and civil warrior?

Glad for you, I personally think it was a step back instead of an overhaul/boost. As does everyone I know that has been playing this game for the last 6 years. I think what I have always asked on the forum is a response from the company. Kind of OP's point

And kabam took the time to move the thread to a different section of the forum but no response

Yes and no. The Gamora changes were made with a clear intent, which was to give her a tiny bit more utility and generally make her kit more practical. I can see what the thought process was.

Civil Warrior’s changes are interesting. Because he always had a fair degree of utility but hit like he had jello hands. I really like his increased damage and new utility (such as nullify immunity), it just has an impractical playstyle (although it can be made more practical with fury extending synergies). But I can see the *why* behind the choices even if their implementation wasn’t perfect.

I can’t see the *why* for the Guillotine choices. I genuinely can’t comprehend why we handed them Guillotine and got back a character that does all of the same things in different (sometimes better, sometimes worse) ways. She’s just not different in any meaningful way.

She went from a zebra that was black with white stripes to a zebra that was white with black stripes. At the end of the day, it’s the same animal.
