We need a tweak to map 8 boss cross fight mechanic

Simply put:
In an alliance where there is friendly competition to slay minibosses for points, the cross fights just aren’t necessary enough to justify 2 extra energy. There is no way anyone in our alliance can ever use a miniboss cross fight as intended because the boss will ALWAYS be dead before anyone stores up the extra energy to claim the cross fight. So it’s just an annoying energy sink as it stands.

The paths to the boss thru vs. around the cross fights need to be the same energy. Otherwise the cross fight will never be useful or fun.
