New Cav nodes, my thoughts

Thunderbolts, Defenders, and Inhumans? That means (as long as your roster is as extensive as it needs to be) your best team options are Namor, Inhuman Royal Family, Rulk, and X23. And that’s just one quest.

I really understand what they’re trying to do with these changes, but with how much of a mess the preview is, with needing all the tags and only being able to select one; this thing is looking like a swing and a miss.

I’ll update with further thoughts and improvement ideas as I get through the rest of the quest

    IMO the cross charges you can get are the equalizer here. Not hard to get 10 charges, which equals 300 percent attack to start the fight.

    But, yeah, the tag-based chapters does complicate matters.

    Yeah so after going back and trying the “harder” portions of Cav EQ, and I’m just not gonna do it. Hopefully Kabam will see the data of people who complete/explore normally not doing it this month and take that into account.

    I could go into detail about the pain points of this quest and the nodes, but it’s all been said before; Classes too restrictive for most rosters in the mid game, Nodes way too punishing if you don’t bring the right tags, and even if you do, it’s punishing still (for example, 3.1. You basically have to be able to reparry, which I still can’t do on command) without the proper reward. The attack boost is nice, but can be hard to gain and you lose it if you want to use it.

    Hopefully Miike wasn’t b.s.ing about taking all the feedback on here.
