Why does DD OG evade massacre SP1? It’s hitting the opponent with a bat. That’s not a projectile

I should have rephrased my inquiry. “Why is SP1 a projectile?” If M hits arent a projectile, neither should the SP1 be projectiles either

Why? The first hit of the sp1 isn't a bat hit, watch what the first hit of the sp1 is.

Only the first hit of Masacre’s SP1 is a projectile because he’s throwing something. Kinda looks like pocket sand
