Let’s discuss the real issue with AW rewards

I posted this in a thread but I really feel this topic deserves it’s own thread.

Let’s be honest about the real issue to all the “Where is the aw season reward” threads. The issue isn’t the fact that we haven’t got rewards yet, the issue is the stupid timing of gifting event 14 day buffer. I think people were originally planning on moving alliances Wednesday like normal, but once the season ended everyone though rewards would be earlier and you could move before the cutoff date.

The real issue, and I wish the forum threads would reflect it, is the stupid timing of gifting. Gifting should have started 14 days after aw season or it should have been a 12 day buffer. That’s the real issue, Kabam’s stupid timing and it seems like it was setup to intentionally screw the player base from rewards they’ve earned.

You can join an alliance on the 20th of December and still get all rewards. People need to chill

Exactly, that is what all these people are failing to comprehend from the message

That’s true however according to their post, you can’t earn points until after the 14 day buffer. This will affect being able to earn all the tier rewards on the alliance side. If you can’t gift until the last day, most alliance members will have already depleted there unit stash for gifting.

Again, the timing of gifting and the 14 day window is the real issue here.

The buffer is a good thing.

I don't understand why so many people hop Alliances personally, but that's their choice. Either way there will be time.

Just don't deplete your unit stash untill then?
That is not incorrect but the way the alliances I’ve been in has done gifting is trading with one another. If you have no one to trade with because they have depleted their units, then you are gifting without anything in return.

They want to move up, down, switch aq/aw, play with friends, maybe focus on gifting, many many reasons

Talk to the alliance you’re going to and ask someone to hold off on gifting until you get there

Yes there are many reason, I personally left my long time alliance at the end of last season due to real life , so I stepped down to a lower aq alliance. Real life has gotten better, so I’m rejoining my old alliance. I have people there and when I join and have to wait a couple of days to gift, no big deal. However, the point of this thread wasn’t to say just wait or don’t move alliances. It was to discuss the real issue of the timing of aw ending and gifting was not thought out and that what really needs addressed by kabam. Imo.

Fair. There just seems to be a plethora of people waiting to move is all.

For me the only real issue are the milestone rewards. i lost my 1k 6s shards. it would be perfect to have compensation for this. we will see if Kabam will think about it.

I think it’s no more than normal, we’re just seeing it posted more because of gifting coming up.

You can still get them even though the season is over. There’s time on the event, you can do wars and get more points. There won’t be compensation for it, just do a war

I was in relaxed m5 Alliance due to the festive month for me.. so I gave life priority. Now I want to move back to m8 and wars.
But there'll be no opening before rewards are distributed. Delayed things will cost me glory, which I need to buy t5bc. Gifting isnt a issue for me and never was.

Just annoyance, should have been smoother.
I didn't complain earlier and not complaining now...But I would've preferred to join back before current AQ cycle.

These threads asking for season rewards helps no one... Kabam will do their thing and rewards will be given when they are ready.

No it will finish with the next one. But we lost two wars the bugged one and the next. No one understood if the bug has it been fixed or what. the war with the bug was impossible to fight without running out of almost all resources. even if so I quickly reached 6s shards😂. But really would be good if they will fix it but not basically.

Just tell them to wait until you can contribute, only needs some patience.
