Nimrod and iHulk

Where do Nimrod and iHulk stand within their respective class?
I can R3 either champ, but don’t know if they’re worth it. I would appreciate some inputs from people who have experience playing with them.

They’re both 8/10 at least, 8.5 even.
I’m sure you’ve seen the iHulk solos of all the SOP bosses. He’s a fun champ IF you know how to sustain him, which is worth learning before you rank him up.
Nimrod, I have no experience with, but man his utility looks awesome. Mutant exterminator.

Nimrod is a top tech in my view, tanky and great against all mutants and anyone who takes energy or shock damage.

I have Nimrod as an r3 6* and am planning on making him my first r4 once I form the second tech t5cc. He’s an absolute unit.

The shock damage off of his sp2 is insane, and, more importantly, passive. That means it bypasses resistances that champions like Magneto and Silver Surfer have. He is immune to ability accuracy reduction from Mutants, so he’s a perfect counter for Domino and Magneto.

Additionally, he’s arguably the tankiest champion in the game, capable of eating some serious damage. I’ve been worn sp3s in AW and AQ because the opponent just wouldn’t cooperate with me that only took off like 10% of my max health. Stack up those armors and try to line it up that the opponent fires the special while you are in either Titan or Eradicator modes and you’ll walk it right off.

The power drain applied to enemies on their special attack in his Blitz and Eradicator modes is also a great piece of utility for power control and very fun on nodes like Power Reserve.

In sum, he’s a Swiss Army knife champion like many others, but I find him sharper than the others.

I’m sold. I have a R3 Sentinel (personal favorite) that’ll go well with Nimrod.

I wish I hadn't r3d him. I thought he would be a high damage champ but his charges fall off too easily. Until that's changed via an update or synergy IMO avoid him.

You’re not playing him correctly then. IHulk has some of the highest damage in the game that is achievable in a VERY short amount of time. I suggest watching some buddy Lee videos

Problem is that all that damage is too dependent on ai. It's painful building up to 10 charges, just one parry-heavy-sp2 to dish out some nice damage but the defender just blocks and your rage charges vanish. I have seen the SOP solos and they all required a perfect ai. I have no idea how many restarts it took to achieve that but regular MCOC ai don't play into your intercepts all the time like that.

I love iHulk. He just takes practice in different situations, and you can learn to manage his gamma. I run him with Herc and BP for an amazing synergy team or all good champs.

I know nothing about Nimrod, so this is not to say the OP should rank iHulk over him. No clue.
