Notifications for gifts received but they aren’t in my inbox

So far I’ve had several notifications that alliance members have sent me gifts but I never received them in my inbox. The gifts sent were greater gifting crystals. I don’t know if this is a delay for notifications because so far I’ve got crystals from those that it said sent one but I’m waiting to see if it keeps occurring. I got another notification that one was sent but the crystal isn’t in my inbox at all. Any clarification about what’s goin on? Is it just a notification glitch or delay? Are some of us not receiving gifts?
