Gifting event

Dear executive board,
I have been scammed twice during this event.I was just trying to be good.
Pls do something about this kind of thing.
Like one can only receive gift if he sends or something. I need my compensation.

You can either click gift player button to just send a gift to them, or you can click trade player button where they have to accpet to trade GGC for GGC before any units get spent, and it just does the gift exchange

If you have been on this forum for a while, ppl here will tell you NEVER trade or gift any1 you don't know, especially on Global chat. It's funny Kabam doesn't have a big banner or announcement for this as they do for fixes or bug issues.

You've learned your lesson the hard way. Never trade on global. Only trade within your alliance, or players you know.
It's a shame you got scammed, but never trust anyone to return your generosity.

You have been scammed. There is no right way to fix it because they're not going to fix it. Kabam even said that there are going to be people who will manipulate you into participating and essentially rob you. Everybody has been saying not to gift anybody you don't know. If you have an alliance mate that you've been playing with for a long time, that's about as close as you're going to get to trusting somebody unless you yourself have a secondary account that you can just trade back and forth with.
