I will never understand why people are so utterly resistant to the idea of a trading screen where you can safely swap gifts between people - and especially if those people are strangers - just because "it's a gifting event". Do you all just randomly send gifts to people without ever wanting or expecting something in return? Because my alliance mates and I generally trade gifts with each other.

If you absolutely want to send stuff somewhere without getting anything in return (which, fair enough, I've done at times as well), then there are absolutely ways to allow that too.

But let's call it an anti-scamming screen, if that sounds better; and a "gifting without scamming" event instead of a trading event.
