Shang chi debuff shrugging

Shang chi is an amazing champ first of all !
How ever there is an interaction that he has with his debuff shrugging that Is just terrible that the AI kinda knows and it makes him so much unreliable that it seems that before it didn’t happen that often !
I have this path in aq8 with encroaching stun Sasquatch where I just build up to a massive sp2 with a lot of charges and just take him down .. however the interaction that Shang has is just terrible with this debuff shrugging specifically for stun debufs and with the rest of the debuff it’s not like that ..
i have like a fraction of a second where the stun hit me and Shang chi is stunned for long enough that sassquach 50% of times catch me stunned and it sucks ..
if felt like before that this kind of interaction wasn’t always like that (I play Shang all the time and I got him more or less the same day he got out with cavs )

Does it happen to you as well ?
More importantly , is this interaction normal ?

Stay or not , do you think it’s supposed to be like that ?
I mean Hercules for example becomes stun immune so naturally it’s “smooth” and I understand there is a difference , but still Im not sure if its “ok” that’s it’s like that or not at it’s base

I don't think hercules is a fair comparison, because he is literally stun immune with at least one charge. The only real comparison can be made with jabari panther, because she has a cleanse as well.

It should still be an instant shrug off though, both shang and caiw with a skill can shrug instantly and i do remember beardo being able to shrug off encroaching as well. Sure its a different mechanic, but both are instant shruggers in contrast to some other skill champs like moleman

There are plenty of champs that have the shrug off/purify mechanic. It is why when you parry DDHK for instance, you can occasionally hit him afterwards. The debuff usually lasts long enough (there is a stated time for some champs at least, but I don't remember) that the effect can register then go through the process of being shrugged off/purified (or not, when it is not a 100% chance). It is a bummer on offense in this case, but if you know he doesn't work ideally for that node combo, then don't keep using him.

Edit: Here is the text for the DDHK interaction. I assume that this is how most shrug off champs work, though they don't usually spell it out like this.

It just feels like at AI becomes smarter and knows how to catch us better with time .
Im not sure if it meant to be like that but if the opinions are divided than what can I say ..
